An experimental essay in Belarusian that stages the form of an inquiry into documentary truth, factography, and the nature of truth itself. Drawing on the nostalgic and poetic tradition of the essay film, it plays with images of Belarusianness, cultural stereotypes, and self-reflexive modes of narration.

The film uses archival materials featuring Belarusian folk motifs, fragments of Belarusian and Soviet documentary cinema, as well as amateur family archives from the 1970s–1990s.
