An experimental essay in Belarusian that takes the form of reflections on documentary value, factual accuracy, and the nature of the very concept of truth. Drawing on the nostalgic and poetic tradition of the essay film, it plays with images of Belarusianness, cultural stereotypes, and self-reflexive modes of narration.

The film features archival footage depicting Belarusian folk motifs, excerpts from Belarusian and Soviet documentary films, as well as amateur home movies from the 1970s through the 1990s.
